Good Shepherd Hospice provided essential care and support for our family during a difficult time. The team of nurses, therapists, counselors, aides and volunteers that made up the hospice staff were highly professional, genuinely caring individuals who communicated openly with us throughout the entire process. We could tell they really understood our needs as a family since they took the time to explain any proposed treatments or procedures in detail prior to their implementation. In addition to dispatching quality emotional comfort costs–especially religious services–they also provided competent medical care and access to specialized resources like nutritionists and social workers onsite that benefited both patient’s health tremendously as well as ours by helping us make informed decisions regarding treatment goals and end-of-life planning.
